Winners for Sketch Challenge #6

It’s been an another amazing week at Freshly Made Sketches! Thanks to Lauri Ingram for joining us and for sharing her beautiful card made with our sketch.

The "Perfect Princesses" this week are:
Lesley's Choice
Susan of Cat's Ink. Corporated

Wow! Susan's card was a real standout for me this week! The embossed image and the fussy cut tree look SO elegant! The tiny red rhinstones on the main image is such a sweet touch. I love that there is no white paper on this card, it is rich and warm. A perfect Christmas creation!! Congratulations Susan on being my choice for Perfect Princess this week!

Lauri's Choice
Kim of Joyful Creations with Kim

So many wonderful cards this week! Kim's card stood out for its unique interpretation of the sketch and its wonderful design of a bright red front door! I love how Kim used embossing to add texture to the door, and with the woodgrain background it really looks like you could walk right into a warm and cozy home! Congratulations Kim, you are my choice for Perfect Princess this week!

Linda's Choice
Kelli's card is wickedly wonderful! Her fashionista wears purple so well! The Halloween details are perfect from the green goo to the pumpkin corduroy pumpkin. And if you check out her blog you will see another delightfully frightful version of this card! Congratulations Kelli on being my pick for Perfect Princess this week!

Jen's Choice
Laurie’s Halloween card is so darn cute! Her embossed and sponged background set the stage for the boiling and bubbling cauldron that she colored so beautifully. But what I really could not resist were those adorable mice! They seem to be dancing and bobbing along and I never thought I’d say I love any mice, but I sure think those are special! A little bakers twine and a fun sentiment finishes her card off perfectly. Congratulations Laurie on being my pick for Perfect Princess this week!

Jennifer's Choice

Jen's Christmas card uses some of my favorite colors! The texture she gets from stamping her background before embossing is fantastic. Her use of the DSP really adds to the vintage feel of this card and the Basic Pearls are the perfect final touch. This card really brings to mind all that is warm and wonderful about Christmas! Congratulations Jen on being my pick for Perfect Princess this week!

Rita's Choice

I absolutely adore snowmen, so it's no surprise that Natalie's card was one of my favorites for the week. I love this little chubby guy and he is colored so perfectly on this card. The white craft ink on the embossed background gives such a nice snowy effect to the card and looks amazing! The baker's twine and mini jingle bells are the perfect embellishments to finish out this super cute card! Congratulations, Natalie, on being my Perfect Princess for the week!

Tui's Choice

Oh, how I love this little guy with his oil stained face and tools in hand! I love the whole general layout of this card, the striking red, white and blue enhances Lisa's crisp, clean styling, and the plaid paper, the twine and buttoned star are the perfect accompaniments for this masculine card, and so suitable for all age groups .... love it!!!
Congratulations Lisa on being my choice for Perfect Princess this week!

The "Queen of Clean" this week is:

Cindy's Choice
Anne Marie Hile - Stampin' Anne

Anne Marie's easel card is one of those cards that grab my attention and make me want to look at every last detail. This card is so very Fresh! Anne Marie's attention to detail really makes this card a favorite. The embossing adds nice texture, the glitter paper adds nice Christmas sparkle. I love how she colored her "red" snowflake with Cherry Cobbler so it would match, and that bow is perfect. Speaking of which, the quilted bow and the square lattice embossed paper are a match-made-in-heaven duo. Gorgeous, simply gorgeous.

Congratulations, Annie Marie! You're the Queen of Clean this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Thank you for joining us! Wednesday we will be back with Sketch #7 and another Featured Designer!!

Sincerely,
