Freshly Made Sketches #400 - A Milestone Celebration

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!  Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try.  The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh.  The "Clean Team" has come up with some "Freshly Made" designs to get you in the spirit.  We are so excited to see what YOU create!

So the big day is finally here!  We are so excited to reveal sketch #400 and some fun extras.  As you all know, the crafting community is truly generous and quite amazing.  We reached out to some of our favorite companies and asked if they would consider sponsoring our milestone sketch.  We had a resoundingly positive response and could not be happier.  Because we get to reward YOU, our players!  While we will choose our normal team favorites this week, we will also randomly select winners of the sponsored prizes. And what fabulous prizes they are!  After you take in the inspiration from our design team, the specifics are below.

As we said above, our winners of these prizes will be chosen randomly from our gallery this week.  Once chosen, we will contact you via the information we have in our linky and post here on our blog.  You will have 5 days to respond or we will choose another recipient.

A huge thank you to these generous companies for your support!

We have a few simple rules to keep things fun and fair for all of our players:

  • Please use any crafting product you would like to use.
  • Feel free to combine our challenge with up to THREE other challenges, except for another sketch challenge.
  • Please add a DIRECT link to your blog or other online gallery when adding your card to the link below.  If linking to a public gallery, use keyword FMS400.
  • Include our challenge sketch and a link back to Freshly Made Sketches on your post.
  • Have fun!
This challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, September 2nd.  On Tuesday, we will announce the winner of this week's challenge who will be known as the "Queen or King of Clean".  The team will choose other gallery favorites to be known as a "Perfect Princess or Prince".

Freshly Made Sketches - A 400th Sketch Celebration - Week 1

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!  Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try.  The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh.  The "Clean Team" has come up with some "Freshly Made" designs to get you in the spirit.  We are so excited to see what YOU create!

We are kicking off a big month of celebration by going back to where we began.  Eight years ago, Lesley Croghan came up with the idea of using sketches that were clean (but not always simple) as a design tool. Not only was she on to something that would become a staple for crafters, she also put together a team that would grow and impact many designers. Two of the original team members, Jen Mitchell and Linda Callahan, are still on the team! So this week we are using FMS #1, which was also FMS #100! We have lots of celebrating to do all month too. We hope you will join us this week and, as always, we can't wait to see what you create!
