The gallery for our 500th sketch this week was amazing.....and then some!  Wow I had a tough decision to make!  Since we are in our final days of summer where I live I was drawn to Carol's beach scene.  I love that she designed a bird's eye view of the beach.  The water is blended beautifully to the shore. The strip of foam is perfect and adds texture. A day at the beach is the best way to end summer!  Congratulations Carol, you are this week's Queen of Clean!

Wow!  Linda here and I can't believe we have reached our 500th Challenge!  I am excited to share my sketch with you today and hope you join in our milestone challenge!  Your creative designs always inspire us week after week!

It was so inspiring to go through the gallery this week and see how you used the sketch in such different ways!  Thanks so much to each of you for playing along. Lucie's bright red poppy created a fabulous vertical line and I love the way she wove the stem through the yellow horizontal strips.
