First let me just say that you all totally rocked the gallery! I loved seeing all of your creative interpretations of my sketch! As I was looking through the gallery Steffi's beautiful butterfly card caught my eye. The subtle embossed texture, the tiny little butterflies and the rhinestones make a lovely background for her gorgeous, layered butterfly. It's such an elegant card! Congratulations Steffi, you are the Queen of Clean!

One of the things that I love the most about looking at all of the cards in the gallery is how y'all can take one sketch and come up with so many different styles of cards. When I designed the sketch for this week, I had a particular style in mind. It was so fun to see how so many of you used it in such a different way, and created such beautiful, clever things. In the end, I chose Amy White's beautifully colored card. I love how she framed and cropped her image, and as if the image wasn't cute enough, the colors just grab your attention. Congrats, Amy! You are the Queen of Clean.

It's Amy here, and I'm excited to get to share our first sketch of the year with you. We hope you'll join in and play along -- what could be a better way to start the new year than to get inky and creative?
