Winners For Sketch 500

The gallery for our 500th sketch this week was amazing.....and then some!  Wow I had a tough decision to make!  Since we are in our final days of summer where I live I was drawn to Carol's beach scene.  I love that she designed a bird's eye view of the beach.  The water is blended beautifully to the shore. The strip of foam is perfect and adds texture. A day at the beach is the best way to end summer!  Congratulations Carol, you are this week's Queen of Clean!

Freshly Made Sketches #500 - A Decade of Sketch Inspiration

Wow!  Linda here and I can't believe we have reached our 500th Challenge!  I am excited to share my sketch with you today and hope you join in our milestone challenge!  Your creative designs always inspire us week after week!  

Welcome to our sketch #500 celebration!  Our crafting community is incredibly generous and we are so happy some of our favorite companies are helping us mark this milestone.  It is hard to believe that when Lesley started this challenge, we would still be going strong 10 years later.  And that, our friends, is because of YOU.  Our players inspire us week in and week out with your creative takes on our designs.  We are thrilled to be able to reward you with some fabulous prizes!  After you take in the team's take on Linda's sketch, you can find all the details below.  

It seems so appropriate that Linda is our sketch designer since she is one of the team that has been here since the beginning! It was so inspiring to go through the gallery this week and see how you used the sketch in such different ways!  Thanks so much to each of you for playing along. Lucie's bright red poppy created a fabulous vertical line and I love the way she wove the stem through the yellow horizontal strips. And I love that the strips were cut from check and polka dot designer papers! Congratulations Lucie, you are this week's Queen of Clean!
