Wow!  The cards this week were absolutely amazing!  I was blown away!  So many beautiful fall and Christmas cards!  I just love how creative you all are!  As soon as I saw Ingeborg's card (actually both of her cards) I knew she hit the nail on the head with this one!  I loved the neutral colours and those sweet little houses are perfect for the sketch!  Congrats, Ingeborg, you are our Queen of Clean!

Your creations were stellar!  I saw trees, flowers, pumpkins, gnomes, and gingerbread men and all made some fun interpretations of the sketch.  My eye was caught by Patricia's clean-and-simple card.  The vibrant color of the flowers against the white background was so striking. I had a wonderful time browsing our gallery this week.  If you ever have a large sentiment and you aren't quite sure what to do with it, come back to this challenge and look around for ideas! My Queen for this week is Sheri. I love her use of the sketch to do full-size shakers behind her big sentiment.  And I also love that when she plays along with us, she often does multiple different cards.  It is really fun to look at her variety of cards and see how small changes can make such a big difference. Happy FMS Sketch Day!  It's Kim and I think I might have brought you the most boring sketch ever!  But I hope you don't look at it that way.  Maybe it's just me, but I buy big sentiment stamps or dies and then I can never quite figure out how to use them. It seems too lazy just to plop them on a great piece of dsp or on a sponged wash of color or on an embossed background, but it isn't, and I want to get over that feeling because those big beautiful sentiments can stand alone. That's why I did the sketch. Keep it easy or fancy up that background - but let your sentiment take center stage.  Most of all, have fun!

What a fabulous gallery this week!  I had a wonderful time visiting all of your creations - beautiful designs! It is sunflower season here in the northeast so Terri's card caught my eye right away! I love the bright sunflower with the black and white backdrop. The basket weave texture is perfect behind the flower! Crisp and classy! Congrats, Terri - you are our Queen of Clean!
