Our Design Team Call was more successful that we could have ever imagined!! So many talented designers entered and we feel so fortunate that so many of you were looking to join our team. Our sincere thanks to each of you who took the time to enter.
We are thrilled to announce our selections to the team! They will be joining us for the next 6 months and we could not be happier to have them aboard. Without further delay, here are our new designers:
Hi! Lee Ann Barrett here! I have been a crafter as long as I can remember. Like many, I was introduced to stamping a few years back when a coworker invited me to a stamping party. Now hardly a day goes by that I don't do something in the craft room! I love being on design teams and always love a good challenge. I will try just about any technique but most everything I do is clean and often simple. I currently enjoy water coloring and am working to improve my coloring skills.
When I'm not cutting paper or getting inky, I am a school nurse in St. Louis. I also enjoy traveling, photography, geocaching and interior design on the cheap! I am thrilled to be joining this talented group of crafters on the best sketch blog there is!
Hi! I'm Judy Rozema. An Arizona transplant, I currently live in Central Nebraska with my husband of 36 years, our 24 year old water turtle, and our sweet 10 year old Lab/Jack Russell mix, Fiona. We have two grown children and two grandchildren. By day I am the Executive Director of our Community Theatre. I love going on junk jaunts, cooking for parties and I love traveling. My mom started me on the crafting journey when she taught me to crochet in high school. I love mixed media, clean and simple, and everything in between. You can find me hanging out at my blog, Joy in a JAR, and on Facebook and Instagram by the same name! I am thrilled to be on the Freshly Made Sketches Design Team and hope I inspire you to create!
Hi, my name is Jacquie Southas. I left my Human Resources career in Vancouver, BC when our daughter was born 21 years ago, followed by our son a year later. Before his first birthday, my husband's career brought us to Seattle first and then our current home in beautiful, sunny San Diego County. When not crafting, I volunteer as a CASA (court appointed special advocate) in the foster care system and try to make it to the beach a few times a week. I've been a lifelong paper crafter, starting with clothing for my handmade paper dolls a child, through to scrapbooking and card making. Discovering the world of blogging and challenges has been a game changer and I'm thrilled to be joining the talented design team at Freshly Made Sketches!
