Freshly Made Sketches #759 - A Sketch by Verena
Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches! Each week one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try. The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh. Hello everyone! Verena here with a straightforward sketch this week. The circle is just a placeholder for a bigger focal point in the bottom right corner. I can't wait to see what you'll all come up with in the gallery!
Just a head's up that Android phone users have experienced problems opening Instagram links directly to our design team member's individual Instagram page. This is an Android problem and not something we can fix, but to make things a little easier for you to find those DT members on Instagram we've provided you with their Instagram handle.
We have a few simple rules to keep things fun and fair for all of our players:
- Please use any crafting product you would like to use.
- Feel free to combine our challenge with up to THREE other challenges, except for another sketch challenge.
- Please add a DIRECT link to your blog or other online gallery when adding your card to the link below. If linking to a public gallery, use keyword #FMS759
- Include our challenge sketch and a link back to Freshly Made Sketches on your post.
- Have fun!

Happy Wednesday, Stampers! Jen T here with this week's sketch. You'll notice there are not a lot of "specifics" on this one and that is by design. I left a whole lot of empty space on a single layer for you to fill as you wish. Textured, stenciled, inked, embossed - however you want to fill the space. And one extra layer for a sentiment. I hope you have fun with this one and I cannot wait to see what you create!

There were so many fun and creative entries for this simple sketch. I LOVE all the uses you found for that simple vertical stripe! I kept coming back to LeAnne's card. I love her beautiful, rich fall colors on the neutral background. It's so beautifully colored. Even the neutral elements have pretty details with the embossing and the ribbon look on the vertical stripe. Congratulations LeAnne, you are our Queen of Clean!
