Freshly Made Sketches #699 - A Sketch by Verena

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!  Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try.  The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh.  The "Clean Team" has come up with some "Freshly Made" designs to get you in the spirit.  We are so excited to see what YOU create!

Hi all! Verena here. My sketch this week has a split focal point. You can use any shape you want, keep it simple or add lots of layers. I hope you’ll have fun with it and I can't wait to see what you come up with!

We have a few simple rules to keep things fun and fair for all of our players:

  • Please use any crafting product you would like to use.
  • Feel free to combine our challenge with up to THREE other challenges, except for another sketch challenge.
  • Please add a DIRECT link to your blog or other online gallery when adding your card to the link below.  If linking to a public gallery, use keyword #FMS699.
  • Include our challenge sketch and a link back to Freshly Made Sketches on your post.
  • Have fun!
This challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, August 18th.  On Tuesday, we will announce the winner of this week's challenge who will be known as the "Queen or King of Clean".  The team will choose other gallery favorites to be known as a "Perfect Princess or Prince."

Winners For Sketch 698!

The Clean Team has chosen their Princesses for you this week and our hostess Kim has chosen the Queen:

What an amazing gallery! I saved so many things to my inspiration files and my stamping wishlist has grown after seeing the products you've used in such fun and unique ways!  I think the three small panels in the sketch gave even the cleanest of cardmakers free rein to add color and patterns to those small areas - it was fun to see them all. But I still kept coming back to this classic white card. Vicki's card is fresh and clean but still full of details with the buildings and the "warm" windows all lit up in one of them. Congrats Vicki. You are our Queen of Clean!

Join us tomorrow for a new sketch from Verena.
