Meet Our New Designers

We have been working on some changes here are Freshly Made Sketches.  No, we are not changing the basics of our challenge just updating our look a bit.  One of the fun new things we get to announce is two new designers!  We know that both of these names are familiar to you because they are extraordinarily talented.  We are thrilled that they will be joining our team.  What better way for you to get to know them even better than an introduction in their own words.

Narelle Farrugia

Hi! My name's Narelle. I'm a wife and a mum to 2 boys and I live in Melbourne, Australia. When I'm not busy with my real job of being a P.A. in a busy Emergency Department, you can find me creating in my craft cave. My addiction to cardmaking started about 5 years ago after I decided to scrapbook an album for my mum for her birthday.  I'd NEVER had any interest in anything crafty and it still surprises that I thought I knew what I was doing! (I can't even look at her album now without cringing). Not long after I  attended a Stampin' Up! workshop and was completely addicted.  A little while later I signed up as a demonstrator  and, if possible, my passion for cardmaking has grown.  I am extremely thrilled to be joining the Freshly Made Sketches team for the next 6 months. I can't wait to see what you create!

Amy O'Neill

I live in McKinney, Texas (a great small town just north of Dallas), and I have three children. I was a CPA before kids, and I have been blessed to be able to stay at home with them as they grow. I've been married to a wonderful man, who is supportive of my paper crafting addiction, for 17 years. I have loved paper crafting since I was a child. I started with scrapbooking when I was in high school and picked it up again when I had my first child. I never thought I was very creative until a friend introduced me to Stampin' Up! eleven years ago, and then I found a new love and passion, which gets stronger every year. I still love to scrapbook, but find that I spend much more time making cards. I am really excited about getting to work with the Freshly Made Sketches team. It is a group of such talented designers.  Sketches are a great springboard of creativity for me, and I think this will be a fun adventure.

We are so excited about our, well, "Fresh" new look.  It will debut tomorrow with our new challenge.  We will also have a slightly different look to the gallery in order to help streamline how we get to see all your fantastic entries!  Many thanks to all of you who share your talents!  See you tomorrow for our latest sketch!
