Greetings and welcome to a new sketch here at Freshly Made Sketches!  It's Rita here with what I found to be a somewhat difficult sketch once I sat down to use it.  It definitely challenged my creativity and I hope it will challenge yours as well.  We need a little difficult in this hobby of ours sometimes, right?!  I'm going with that!   Scroll on down to see how our designers did with it...

The Queen of Clean: Cindy Lovell of I Scrap My Way

Thanks to everyone who played along with our challenge!  It's always so fun to see all the different interpretations of the sketch!  This week the first thing I noticed about Cindy's card was the neutral gray paired with the colorful stripes and banners.  And the bits of gold give this a wonderful "wow" factor.  Her card is modern, fresh and so eye-catching!  Congrats, Cindy you are the Queen of Clean this week!

The King of Clean: Brian King of Stamp with Brian 

I loved seeing everyone’s cards in the gallery  – thank so much for playing along with my sketch.  I’ve chosen Brian’s card this week for it’s beautiful clean lines and also for the totally unexpected, but fabulous, colour combo for Christmas.  Who would’ve thought Real Red and Elegant Eggplant would look this amazing? I just love this Christmas card as the chevrons and colours give it such a modern feel.

The gallery this week was really spectacular.  I love all the interpretations of my sketch!  Peggy's card really caught my eye.  I love the beautiful colors to start.  And her use of the trendy chevrons and feathers just made me say wow.    Congratulations Peggy, you are the Queen of Clean this week!

Karren's creative use of the sketch really wowed me this week.  Her fussy cutting is amazing in itself, and combined with the beautiful, traditional Christmas colors against the white background, she has created one beautiful Christmas card.  Congrats, Karren!  You're the Queen of Clean this week!
