Freshly Made Sketches #399 - A Sketch by Jen B

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!  Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try.  The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh.  The "Clean Team" has come up with some "Freshly Made" designs to get you in the spirit.  We are so excited to see what YOU create!

It's Jen B here with this week's sketch!  Coming up with a sketch design is always tough for me.  I'm a very linear thinker so I generally pick symmetrical designs!  I started with 4 squares!  Taking off that 4th square in the sketch was a lot for me!!!  I hope you'll have lots of fun with the sketch and I know you'll create some amazing cards!!

Also, you may notice that we are approaching a pretty significant sketch number!  Play along this week and then stay tuned for lots of fun in next week's challenge.

The Queen of Clean: Nora N at A Creative Touch.

It is so wonderful to see a sketch come to life with all your creative cards!!  Thanks to everybody who played along.  I thoroughly enjoyed browsing the entire gallery but I kept returning to Nora's card because it made me smile.  I love those quirky little birds - and she used such a fun coloring technique to give them texture.  The sideways use of the sketch worked perfectly for her two sentiments. Congrats, Nora, you are our Queen of Clean!

Happy FMS day!  It's Kim - and it's my week to bring you a sketch. There's quite a bit of detail in this sketch with five different elements (including three circles!)  But a quick glance at our design team's creative cards shows how amazingly different cards can be even with the same sketch!  I am very excited to see what you come up with. I loved visiting all of your galleries this week to see the amazing interpretations of the sketch!  The elegant simplicity of Emily's card caught my eye right away. The gold embossing is beautiful with the sweet pink flowers which are delightfully watercolored!  The simple stitched framing sets off the focal point perfectly! Congrats, Emily you are our Queen of Clean!
