Freshly Made Sketches #479 - A Sketch by Kim

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!  Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try.  The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh.  The "Clean Team" has come up with some "Freshly Made" designs to get you in the spirit.  We are so excited to see what YOU create!

It's Kim and I have to say it is always a thrill to design the sketch!!  I tried to keep it simple so you had options. In this case, the upper corner could be an image or a sentiment or a die-cut and I'm sure there are other options that your creative minds will come up with that I haven't even thought of!  I look forward to see what you come up with. I learn so much and get so many ideas by browsing through all of your cards each week. Enjoy!

Thank you to everyone who played along with our sketch!  It was so fun to see all the creative interpretations of the sketch and you made it so hard to choose!  I love the technique that Nancy used to create color for the flowers and leaves.  It's got a great color block look!  The subtle diagonals on the background and the white space in the center make this a fabulous card!  Congratulations Nancy, you are the Queen of Clean!

It is always so inspiring seeing everyone's creations!  I loved the ways you all played with my sketch! Adriana's inspired design manages to be clean and "messy" at the same time!  Her tone on tone stripes keep the focus on the basket of cats.  The scattered sequins, loopy twine and sentiment strips add to the fun that a basket of cats would create!  Delightful card! Congratulations Adriana, you are the Queen of Clean!
