Hi everyone! We are so excited that one of our Guest Designers is our sketch hostess this week! The lovely Shannon Jaramillo has created one that is in perfect FMS style! The whole team loves it and we are sure you will too. Hello my friends! It's hard to believe that August is upon us! School starts in less than two weeks for the kiddos around here. Your projects last week were so much fun, I loved looking through the gallery! For my first sketch EVER, I chose something very simple with lots of room for interpretation. I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much to all those who took time to play with my sketch this week. I loved seeing all your beautiful work. So many fun tags and also some clever crafters who went outside the box and interpreted the tag element as not a tag. I love that! The card that stood out to me the most this week was this gorgeous creation from Breelin. I love the bold tag, the shimmer of the sunshine, and the neutral background that allows it all to pop. Such a fabulous work of art! Congrats for being the Queen of Clean this week, Breelin!

Hello! It's Rita here this week with a new sketch to challenge and inspire you. I've recently fallen into the Tim Holtz craze, so tags are my new obsession. Of course here we want to keep our creations fresh and clean, so I put my distressing tools aside. :) I hope you will enjoy creating with a tag and some fun layers on top! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thanks to everyone who played along with our sketch. The gallery was positively alive with your creativity! I chose Mary's card this week because I loved how she combined subtle colors and several layers to create a card with so many thing to see. The textured background, the sequins, and rhinestones really draw your eye in to the leaves, butterflies, and die cut layer. Congratulations Mary! You are the Queen of Clean!

Well here we are again with our second challenge for the month of July! I think it's been a while since we've seen a square sketch here so I thought I'd give one to you this time around. (I think I must be the only one who likes those)!! Of course, if you are more comfortable with a rectangular card that's ok too. The design is simple and I can't wait to see how you all interpret it. So put your paper and ink together and have fun!

As hoped, you shared so many amazing projects with us this week! Thank you for sharing your talents and inspiration! This card spoke to me on multiple levels. First, the amazing shading on the sponged oval is stunning and I love the sun and cloud images! But the message in the sentiment really spoke to me. Congratulations Jen! You are the Queen of Clean!

Happy July to you all! So glad to see you this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Your beautiful cards last week wow'd the whole team and we are so grateful for all you share with us each week. For my sketch, I kept things pretty simple but tried to change it up a bit with an oval. I had not pulled out my ovals for a while and they needed some love! I hope you'll have fun with this one!
