Freshly Made Sketches #663 - A Sketch by Jen M

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!  Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try.  The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh.  The "Clean Team" has come up with some "Freshly Made" designs to get you in the spirit.  We are so excited to see what YOU create!

Hi all!  It's Jen Mitchell as your hostess this week and I've given you a favorite of mine...a square card!  Of course, you can make a card using whatever shape you like.  The important thing is that you have fun making a design that makes you smile!

We have a few simple rules to keep things fun and fair for all of our players:

  • Please use any crafting product you would like to use.
  • Feel free to combine our challenge with up to THREE other challenges, except for another sketch challenge.
  • Please add a DIRECT link to your blog or other online gallery when adding your card to the link below.  If linking to a public gallery, use keyword #FMS663.
  • Include our challenge sketch and a link back to Freshly Made Sketches on your post.
  • Have fun!
This challenge will end at 3:00 EST time on Monday, November 25th.  On Tuesday, we will announce the winner of this week's challenge who will be known as the "Queen or King of Clean".  The team will choose other gallery favorites to be known as a "Perfect Princess or Prince."

Amy from Tsuruta Designs!

What a fabulous gallery this week!  You all filled the sketch space in the most creative ways and I'm so amazed by your creations.  This little dessert buffet practically jumped out at me (I'm sure it wasn't because I wanted treats).  Just look at all the little sprinkle details! Congratulations Amy, you are our Queen of Clean!

Winners For Sketch 661

The Clean Team has chosen their Princesses for you this week and our hostess Jacquie has chosen the Queen:

Michele from I Card Everyone!

It was so much fun to visit your designs this week! I loved each and every one and had a hard time picking a winner from so many fun styles and techniques. It was Michele's use of a nontraditional palette to add a modern twist to Christmas, along with the repeated stitched texture, that tipped the scales for me. Congratulations Michele, you are our Queen of Clean!

Hello, stampers! It's Amy here, and it is my pleasure to provide the sketch for the week. I always love a clean collage-style card, and this sketch was designed with that style in mind.
