Meet our August Guest Designer!

Hey everyone!  We are so excited to tell you that we have a Guest Designer for the whole month of August!  Please join us in welcoming Kim Singdahlsen from Joyful Creations with Kim!  

Kim is one of our regular players and we love to see her cards in the gallery.  We are thrilled to have her along on the Clean Team this month.  We can't wait to see what she creates!

March?  Is it really already March? Whew!!! Time flies when you are having fun!!  Thank you to our talented Guest Designers from February; Kim and Tracey.  It has been a pleasure working with you and we hope you will continue to join us in future challenges.


This month we have two new Guest Designers for you to meet!  Both of these ladies are avid participants at Freshly Made Sketches and we just love their work!!!  Please welcome  Narelle Farrugia and Allisa Chilton.


I asked each of them to share a little about themselves, here is what they said:

Narelle Farrugia of Stamplicious

Hi - I'm Narelle and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I'm married with two teenage boys and work full-time as a Personal Assistant in a busy Emergency Department.  I kind of fell into card making about 3 years ago - never having had any crafting interest before that.  In fact I would never even look at a card properly before I purchased it!  I attended a Stampin' Up! workshop, got the bug and not long after that, joined up as a Demonstrator.  I am completely addicted to this craft and love that I have formed so many new friendships with amazingly crafty women out there.  I run away to my craft cave and stamp every chance I get.  I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for March and can't wait to share in the challenges with you.  Thanks for the opportunity!

Allisa Chilton of Rocky Mountain Paper Crafts

Hello, I am truly honored to be asked to be a Guest Designer for Freshly Made Sketches.  I started blogging in September 2011 and found the site soon after. The Design Team and Players have been a great inspiration in my card making.   I have been paper crafting since 1995.   Scrapbooks were my first love and card making soon followed.  I hope that my scrapbooks will leave a lasting legacy and that my cards bring a smile to the recipient.  I am an Independent Consultant for Close To My Heart.   I look forward to sharing my creations with you and being inspired by your creations as well.

Meet our Guest Designers for February!

February is a day away (wow) and we are excited to announce our Guest Designers for the month! Before we do, let us once again say how much we enjoyed working with Nina Forsyth and Jen Sannes!  Thank you ladies for all of your hard work in January!

Hi everyone. I live in Quebec, Canada.  I have been married for 9 years. I am a SAHM to two wonderful girls. I also run a photography business part time.  Between being a mom and running my own business, I love having some ME time to create something with paper!!! I am so honored to be a guest designer this month for Freshly Made Sketches. I love doing paper crafts, especially card making. I started off scrapbooking when my oldest was born 7.5 years ago, but I have been drawn to card making more over the past two years. I absolutely love taking part in challenges! Sketches are by far my most favourite. I find having a sketch to start with sparks my creativity!

I am thrilled to be a guest designer for Freshly Made Sketches.  I have played along since their first sketch. The sketches are so creative and the "Freshly Made" designs from the "Clean Team" are always inspirational.  The majority of my cards go to our church card ministry. Making cards for the church is truly the perfect ministry – I love designing the cards, the card group loves the fellowship of meeting and making the cards, the congregation loves selecting cards for their friends and family, the recipients know they are loved and cared for…and the church receives the card donations! I live in Parker, Colorado with my husband of 22 years, my two sons – 16 and 12 – 1 dog and 2 cats. We lead a very active life with sports, music, church activities and as much time as possible hiking, biking and skiing in our Colorado Rockies.


Thank you ladies!  We are looking forward to crafting with you this month!!! Tomorrow we will announce the winners of our last sketch and then on Wednesday, we will have a brand new sketch for you by me!

Meet Our November Guest Designers

With November comes change; the clocks are set back and for us here at Freshly Made Sketches, the addition one or two Guest Designers!  Starting this month, we will be introducing two new guest designers each month here at Freshly Made Sketches.

**You do not have to be a Stampin' Up Demonstrator to be chosen as a guest designer but we do tend to choose people who play along with us!  It is that simple!

I would like to introduce this month's talented and lovely Guest Designers.  Christy Q and Lauri Ingram. I have asked them to share a bit about themselves.

SchnauzerCrafts Creations

Hi – my name is Christy Q, I’m owned by that cute little schnauzer looking at you. Her name is Lexi and she has my husband and I completely wrapped around her little paws.

I have been happily stamping away and making cards since November 2007 when I was first inspired to make my own Christmas cards using nothing but a few stamps, a few ink pads and a little bitty IKEA table. Fast forward to a few years later, I now have a multitude of stamp sets, ink pads, tools and a craft room!

Card making is a way for me to relax from my long commute to and from work and what sometimes can be a hectic travel schedule during certain periods of the year. Besides card making and taking care of a certain little schnauzer, I love to read books and sew quilts when I have time. Although it’s a tough choice to make between sewing quilts and making cards since cards get done a lot quicker!

I am so excited to be part of the Freshly Made Sketches Design Team for November as I have been inspired by this group of ladies for the longest time. Thanks, everyone, for inviting me to be part of your fantastic team!

Paperville Crafts

I have been crafting for over 30 years!  An IT professional by day, I spend every free moment immersed in paper crafts, and looking forward to the day I can retire and craft all the time.  Anyone know any single, rich guys willing to support me?  (lol)  I started stamping 20 years ago when my daughter was a toddler and have never looked back.   I have been a Stampin' Up Demo for three years and love doing workshops and teaching. I also specialize in special order gifts, cards and favors.  I live in Connecticut with my 21 year older daughter Vicky and my 13 year old Westie, Chansey.
