Freshly Made Sketches #455 - A Sketch by Jen Mitchell

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches! Each week, one member of our design team creates a sketch for you to try. The challenge is to follow our sketch while keeping your project clean-lined and fresh. The "Clean Team" has come up with some "Freshly Made" designs to get you in the spirit. We are so excited to see what YOU create!

Hello! And welcome to our new sketch challenge. It's Jen M here as your hostess this and I've resurrected an old favorite of mine: a square card! Feel free to use any shape you want for the star and the card, for that matter! It's all about creative fun here!

We have a few simple rules to keep things fun and fair for all of our players:

  • Please use any crafting product you would like to use.
  • Feel free to combine our challenge with up to THREE other challenges, except for another sketch challenge.
  • Please add a DIRECT link to your blog or other online gallery when adding your card to the link below. If linking to a public gallery, use keyword FMS455.
  • Include our challenge sketch and a link back to Freshly Made Sketches on your post.
  • Have fun!
This challenge will end at 3:00 EDT time on Monday, October 5th. On Tuesday, we will announce the winner of this week's challenge who will be known as the "Queen or King of Clean". The team will choose other gallery favorites to be known as a "Perfect Princess or Prince".

Winners For Sketch 454

The Clean Team has chosen the Princesses for you this week and our hostess Jacquie has chosen the Queen!

~The Queen of Clean: Amy Koenders from Stamp With Amy K~

Thank you for filling the gallery with your beautiful designs this week! While it is a treat to see such a variety of styles and techniques, it sure makes it tough to pick a winner. In the end, it was Amy's color palette and pairing the rustic wood designer paper with the elegance of gold cord and a gem that I kept coming back to for another look.  Congratulations, Amy, you're this week's Queen of Clean!

Join us tomorrow for a new sketch by Jen Mitchell!
